Bibliography
Interview
How they got involved
- Randy Bachman said: "Like Peter [Frampton] said, you don't say no to a Beatles. The night before, which was, I remembered very clearly, a Wednesday night, there was PBS and they had on 'Help !' and 'Hard Day's Night', 'Help !' and 'Hard Day's Night' and 'Yellow Submarine' and over and over and over. As a fun racing thing on PBS. And the next morning my phone ring and this is from Monaco and that the voice I can't do 'Hello this is Ringo Starr, would you play my band' and hung up the phone. I thought it was my road manager joking and then the phone ring again and it's him and my wife said 'this is Ringo Starr and I said 'No' at first, and then said 'I Am insane' and this was really a great band."
